New 2014 Black vs White Wealth Disparity Report: Will Minorities Ever Overcome Cycles Of Poverty Debate Forum
If you're a black or Latino living in the Lehigh Valley, you probably make less money, probably don't own a home, are less likely to go to college and banks are less likely to give you credit, compared to your white neighbors. Those findings in a study released Friday by the Lehigh Valley Research Consortium are at the heart of an effort by community leaders who are recommending a raft of new programs designed to help level a playing field they say is decidedly against minorities.
